Ack! Why did I take Wake Forest!?
Watched a very good film last night called Frozen River. It's about human smuggling and the lengths that single mothers will go to to provide for their children. Very bleak but very good.
On St. Patrick's Day we went and saw the musical Spring Awakening. We'd seen it in New York and absolutely loved it. It's in Toronto now, and it is still great. The performances did not seem as dynamic as the Broadway version. but I think that is to do with the cavernous venue they stuck it in. It's a great play about sexual repression, teen angst, and conformity. It has a great rock vibe to it, as well. I thin k it will be touring North America, now. Well worth seeing.
