Stephen and I hung out all last weekend... which included a trip to Barnes and Nobles, during which I took a couple of pictures of interesting..ness.

Ok, so at first glance, does this not look like the guy on the end has those legs? I found it amusing..

Then there's this:

Apparently it's logical for B&N to put a book on shrunken heads right in between books on Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn?
...
Makes sense to me.

ALSO. That day, we went to a concert at local 506 to see Midtown Dickens, Paleface&Mo, and Holy Ghost Tent Revival.

Midtown Dickens: I love them. They were the first to play, and I didn't realize how many instruments each of them play. The two main girls both play banjo, guitar, percussion, trumpet, and trombone. It's crazy. Personally, I really enjoy their music.

Paleface and Mo: Pretty good. Didn't turn out quite like I had imagined, based on what I've heard of them on Four
Thieves Gone, but they were still very entertaining. Mo always looks so happy when she drums. XD

Holy Ghost Tent Revival: ... I don't even know where to start. They were so awesome. I'd seen them live before when I went to see Bombadil, but since they were just opening, I didn't really get to hear a lot of them, even though what I had heard from them live was amazing. Their CD doesn't come close to capturing how awesome they are live. The two main singers (banjo player and bass player) both ended up getting bloody hands.

(We ended up talking to this guy after the show... he was really nice! I offered him some bandaids for his knuckles but he said he'd be fine... XD)

Unfortunately I did not get a good picture of the bloody banjo, though.
Best I got:

Also, continuing on the painful bloody note, both my feet got hurt at that concert... XD
The (slightly heavy) guy in front of me was jumping around and all and suddenly stomped onto my left big toe.. D: I wasn't wearing shoes like converse or something with a rubber toe.. I was wearing flats...
And then later... someone drops a beer bottle and it shatters everywhere and I feel a piece hit my foot but I just guess that it bounced off and I keep jumping around. But apparently it had gotten into my shoe and I jumped on it ... So I had to limp off to the bathroom in the middle of a song (going past Joe Kwon in the process) and took off my shoe, the inside of which was pretty much covered in blood. A girl walks in right as I'm staring at the blood in my shoe and asks if I'm alright. XD
It ended up just being a tiny cut.. it just bled a lot... I ended up just sticking a paper towel in my shoe because I'm pretty sure a bandaid wouldn't stick.

Oh and about Joe Kwon... we definitely got to meet him after the show. He's pretty cool. I was very excited to get to meet him. Stephen had originally said he wanted to get a picture with him, but we never did... ! Nothing to prove we met him :(

Alright but anyway, I had more random pictures to put up, but they don't really match with this post... not that it would really matter that much.

Oh, and you can watch the concert (well... a bit of Paleface and Mo and HGTR) at tourcast.tv and click on "On Demand" and then the Paleface & HGTR. Observe the awesome.
