So I answered the phone at work a couple of days ago with my normal polite greeting.

MAN:  "I need to speak to a supervisor."  (note: there are probably about 15 supervisors where I work. Seeing as he called our office, I figured he wanted to talk to mine.)

Hey, I was trying to help him, and he wouldn't let me. I omitted a lot of what he was saying, because quite frankly, he was talking so fast I didn't pick it all up. The conversation was probably about 3 minutes long, and I probably talked for about 30 seconds of that.

I deal with lawyers all the time and they are all frakin snobs, ok maybe not all of them just the ones I have encountered. The consensus seems to be I know the law so it does not apply to me and I know your job better then you do. We tell them no all the time, GOOD FOR YOU on what you did.

Yeah, I'm pretty proud of myself. It was pretty much how I always pictured it would be talking to Jack Thompson: tons of inane babble followed by "I'm a lawyer".

That doesn't scare me...I'm poor.
