I wrote a couple months ago about Mirror's Edge,  a true first person adventure that literally puts you into the head of the main character as she leaps and runs through a futuristic urban setting.  The ideas of the first person mechanics were very much like the ideas I had for my vision of a Silent Hill game.  But I wondered if running and jumping ( Read more... )

Oh, I admit that it looks very early, and I agree that the character design leaves much to be desired. But there's a fluidity here...a beauty of movement only heightened by the fact that it feels like you're in this character's shoes doing it, but without feeling nauseating or disorienting. I think it's going to be a tough sell to consumers, but I want to pick it up, if for no other reason than research.
