I wrote a couple months ago about Mirror's Edge,  a true first person adventure that literally puts you into the head of the main character as she leaps and runs through a futuristic urban setting.  The ideas of the first person mechanics were very much like the ideas I had for my vision of a Silent Hill game.  But I wondered if running and jumping in first person would look cool or nauseating? I waited, and waited for a trailer, and finally, this week, it came:

I've watched this trailer four times already, and I never do that.  It is a thing of utter beauty and brilliance, and has literally brought a tear to my eye.  Not because any of the content is tear-worthy, but because watching this, it's like I see my true calling.  Watching this, I think....I NEED to be doing this.  I need to be on a team like these guys.
