I got home mid-first-period and found an online feed of tonight's Penguins game. I watched happily as the Penguins got up 4-0! Looking good! Then Tampa came back and scored three and we were only up by one. Then we scored again, and they scored again, still up by one...
AND MY FEED STOPPED. WE WERE UP BY ONE WITH 26 SECONDS LEFT AND TAMPA WITH AN EXTRA ATTACKER ON THE ICE!
Turns out I missed Jordan Staal scoring an empty-netter to secure the game. But seriously, HEART ATTACK RIGHT THERE. You can also visit my other heart attack of the evening in the comments of my last links post, where
Petr Sykora scored his 300th career goal, which was also the game-winning goal. I wouldn't be surprised if, like, 295 of those 300 are game-winners. He's SERIOUS.
Oh well. With this win, we've clinched a spot in the playoffs, woooooo!
