Not to get all reflective here, but today's horoscope reminded me of a conversation I had the other day:
Have you ever wondered why you're still single? Maybe it's your exceedingly high standards. If you find fault and judge everything and everyone, no wonder you can't make a connection. There's a difference between compromising and being more open-minded.
This doesn't take into account the fact that some of us like being single. Why lower my standards when I like what I have? (Or should that be when I like what I don't have?) Anyway, that's a memo to guys: I'm not going to give up the free time I enjoy so much, unless you make it worthwhile by meeting my exceedingly high standards.
