Itchy wings
My third PhotoDeluxe attempt. Layers are very definitely one's friends. If you'd like to see the original sketch I worked from, comment or something. I need to upload it to the picture hosting site.
I'm happy with the way her face turned out. And the skin colours. I do love that program so much. I think I'll go back and work on the wings a bit more, though. Add some feather detail, I suppose. Imagine what I could do with Photoshop! Endless possibilities.
When I'm not playing around with PhotoDeluxe, I am either knitting (and watching tv in the meantime), or reading a book, or contemplating moving on to my university work. OR working on the weekends. I think I am bored of this routine. I need to get away from it, which sucks, considering I have 10 and a bit more weeks (at least) to survive first. So I'm thinking, next year is the year to go on exchange. Or on holiday. Distractions are required!
Something! I can't handle more of this you-can-find-me-at-Starbucks-or-at-university-or-at-home-or-travelling-between-the-three (not that anyone ever comes looking). My life consists of study and work (and I don't even get round to studying that often, either..). I entertain myself in between those with boring solitary things.
There's more to life! I want free time! I want to be in a new country! I'm going to be 20 by the end of this year (it's already August!). My third decade! I need to travel. I haven't moved to a different country for almost 9 years! I don't need to move anywhere- I just want to see different things! Hear different things!

Which is funny, because I was actually born on a Thursday. Far to go as in, character development? Mental abilities? Physical? Travel?
