Dungeons + Dragons = Happiness
Yesterday was an excellent day! All day D&Ding, some excellent stuff happened for the party, some not so excellent (and some excellent) stuff for Anya. (Being injured by two party members within the space of the same fight, because they were trying to attack my opponents, resulted in my first PC death). But luckily the cleric revived me and I was very nervous running around on only 1HP till I got some proper healing done.
Yet more stuff to write up! I will do that. I am chipping away at the previous sessions, too. (I know I keep promising, but seriously, I am trying to write! Sorry
loupdunoir!)
Today we're having a movie night at Rex's house, with possibly some more D&D thrown in. Our regular DM doesn't have a plot set up to continue, so I volunteered running a one-off game. Luckily the DM and Terrok (Dwarven cleric) are rules lawyers (or this example may be funnier), so I'll let them worry about that aspect of it while I try and pull a plot together. The others will use their characters from this campaign, while the DM will try out his new character for another campaign (which I believe is really the only reason he wanted someone else to DM anyway). :-P So it may be my opportunity to avenge Anya's near-permanent death.
Since Rex is all the way out in Hurstbridge, which is an hour by train from the city, we'll have an all-night movie marathon and then come home on Sunday. Lots of train time today, since I'll be travelling in to the city to meet the others, then we travel together down to Hurstbridge.
