now as a fan of the Silent Hill games.. I'm really looking forward to the movie. the games are really detailed and well thought-out. Yes its a horror but its not about killing monsters like so many others. everyone whos in Silent Hill is there for a reason. The monsters arent random at all either. Each monster has a specific reason for being there in direct relation of a character.
After watching the teaser and the trailer i can tell that the movie has taken a large amount detail from Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams. That makes me very happy because Silent Hill 2 is the only game/movie in existence so far that can make me look over my shoulder.
im really curious as to what type of ending they will use. theres always 4 or 5 different endings. Examples:
Happy one: You dead wife is reborn for you
Somewhat happy: You accept your wifes death and move on with deamon girl who was pretending to be you wife
Sad: Your love of you dead wife brings you to drive your car into the lake so you can be with her always
Bad: You refuse to accept that you wife is gone and lead an evil cult in order to revive her
Weird: As youre leaving Silent Hill the main character from the first one tell you that you need to go with him. With a flash light the 2 characters are gone and a UFO is seen flying away over Silent Hill
