either I'm missing something obvious, or once upon a time I totally wrote a song
There is this song I remember from when I was, I dunno, twelve-ish? When I used to leave the clock radio on as I fell asleep. I remember most of the lyrics to the chorus and how the tune goes, but no matter what combination of lyrics I use in duckduckgo or google, the song just doesn't come up. It's so weird. So I have decided that I totally wrote the song and just think I heard it on the radio.*
I have more "exciting" life updates (I actually went out and Did Things this weekend. With Actual People), but this matter is currently the most pressing.
I'm going back to writing that fic now.
* I don't really think this. I am, however, out of ideas as to why I can't track it down, because surely even if it wasn't popular in the early '90s someone, somewhere, sometime put those lyrics up on the 'net?
