The more I learn about his thoughts, the more I lament never having a real chance to get to know him. He and I would have gotten on splendidly, I think, and would have definitely liked having him in my life.
*-out-law is a descriptor my friends & i came up with for the relations of an S.O. which you are not married to, such that my ex's brother is my ex-brother-out-law, etc. Kinda pointless, but it's fun when you realize that someone who's a year or two younger than you is your step-mother-out-law-out-law
