Day 37

Sep 20, 2007 22:35

Well, Ryland predicted a 6-0 win over Anorthosis Famgusta and damned if Tottenham didn't get close.  6-1 was the final score, which, I must say, I was rather impressed.  They managed to score the first goal in the first 5 minutes of the match and then another 3 goals in 4 minutes and then Defoe got in another 2 in his 20 minutes in play.  Well played indeed, although they did miss 2 or 3 excellent chances for more goals.  Come on you Spurs!  Now if only they can inflict the same damage on Bolton on Sunday.

Didn't do much else today.  I got a bit of work done, so that site is more or less finished.  Now I just have to get paid for it.

My confidence in my graphics was dealt a rather minor blow last night when I found out my application had been denied over at
good_cropping.  They said my icons were oversharpened and the color was off balance.  Now, most of you are here because you're friends on my icon journal - is this really the case?  I always fade the sharpen filter by at least 75%, if not by half or more.  Are they really oversharpened?  I'm really just about to give up on trying to keep up with the icon fads.  I admit I'm not as good as most, but I do try to keep in the running.  I always feel like if I don't sharpen them that they just seem blurry and I'd rather like to have some details stick out.  Also, the color is off balance?  I'm still trying to figure out what exactly that means.

*sigh* Whatever, I'm kind of fed up with the icon scene at the moment anyhow.  On the bright side, Lexie's christening is on Sunday.  It's a good thing it's in the afternoon, that way I can still hit up my non-heretical Catholic mass in the morning.
