Today is a bank holiday here and I spent it on the sofa because I've got yet another cold. They're pretty much unavoidable when you're a teacher. But it doesn't seem to be nearly as bad as the last one, so at least there's that.
Let me quickly sum up this week so far.
Even my phone is now ready for Halloween. I picked this up 2 weeks ago at H&M and I absolutely love it. It's got a retro feel and it's perfect for this time of the year.
I had such a great practice on Tuesday. I'm currently trying to get the hang of a new jump and it's all pretty exciting. I just can't describe the feeling I have when something I've been so afraid of suddenly starts working out. And it doesn't matter that I still have a long way to go. I'm too in love with the process to care about what I may or may not achieve. I know that there are limits to what I can learn as an adult but I honestly don't see why that should discourage me from trying to learn as much as possible.
It's Halloween tights week!
This is what the park across the street from my ice rink looks like right now. Beautiful, isn't it?
I can't believe there are people who don't like autumn.
One more thing (or two, rather). I've come across these two items last week and I just had to share.
Firstly:
Look at that. Whoever had that idea was a bloody genius. A cup with a biscuit pocket. Terrific, isn't it? The image is from
Tchibo.
Secondly:
I found this on
ASOS. I don't even know what to say. I'm known for wanting to buy everything that's got reindeer, snowflakes, candycanes, holly, robins, skates or Christmas puddings on it. But... bin bags? I mean, I would either keep all my rubbish in the house just so I could admire my beautiful Christmas bin bags, which is hardly a good idea, or I'd never use them because it'd be such a shame to use them for rubbish. The idea behind this product is, in a way, genious.
How's your week coming along?
