Late winter/early spring sunrise.
Earlier this week, the weather inversion finally lifted and we had 5 sunny/partly sunny days in a row. It was absolutely amazing and it was the first time this year. I wish I could have spent more time outside and soak up the sunlight. Unfortunately, it didn't last and we're back to grey and cold now and we were told to expect snow next week. But I still managed to catch a sunrise earlier this week, and I'm grateful for that.
The tree branches are still bare and that won't change for weeks. It was still nice to see them laced with sunlight. And there's a bird in the tree. I can hear him every day these days, which is a sure-fire sign of the coming spring.
