I'm back! I can't believe it has been 11 days since I have updated. Time has been flying. I survived my first week of work at the Boy's and Girl's Club. The Highlights: cleaning up spit up, separting fights, assigning punishments, but also calming their tears, hearing their funny stories, getting hugged a ton, and seeing their smiling faces.
I've haven't done much else besides work. Running has gotten better though this week storms have been hindering my progress. I also went to Maryville this weekend for my first Peer Mentor event. It was as nerve racking as I thought, I only tripped over my words a few times. Talking to all of the freshmen was fun and it made me think back on when I was a freshman. We had to talk in front of a lot of parents, but that was cool too. Then I got to sleep in today...skipping church...I'm a bad girl.
Well, I guess that's it. I finished HP #4 for like the third time. Well, the summer roles on :)
