Sunday lunch at Carlos was great fun. He prepared lots of lovely food, including pulpo a la gallega and a bread and butter to die for.
We were 8 guys: 3 English, 3 Spanish, 1 Portuguese and 1 Italian. 
I think Ross said that it was like a mini-XXL!

Well Moro lived up - and exceeded - expectations!! Superb food, attentive but relaxed service and of course great company!

I had:
- chestnut and chorizo soup
- wood roasted chicken with winter tabbouleh and pistachio sauce
- Malaga raisin ice cream with Pedro Ximenez

and they were all simply wonderful.

Last night we went to see "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" at the Chelsea Cinema. 
The film is simply magnificent: wonderful costumes and sublime photography. 
It is not historically accurate: it's very black and white with England the champion of free speech and Spain simply plain evil.  
Still it was great fun to watch!
