Pink trousers
Our Finance/HR Director (who last year blackmailed us in "handing over" 3 months of company pension contributions or face more redundancies) has just walked in and he's wearing pink trousers.
A co-worker with an expression of utter disbelief on his face exclaimed "Quick, look at X! He's wearing pink trousers. I've never seen a man wearing pink trousers!". (They are Miss Piggy pink).
I replied "They were all the rage in Italy a couple of years, together with apricot, yellow and red".
