After 3 stressful days at work, today it's calm and relaxed... and I'm feeling exhausted. But don't think I'll have an early night.
Tonight we're going to the recording of the hugely popular
Have I Got News For You.
Since Angus Deayton was (unfairly, in my opinion) forced to resign following allegations of drug use and sex with prostitutes, there's been a different host every week.
Tonight the host will be
Chris Tarrant who got in the news this week for
being arrested for allegedly throwing cutlery at a man in a restaurant; and one of the guest panelists will be Lib Dem MP Lembit Opik who's "famous" for
dumping a TV "weather girl" for one of the Cheeky Girls months ago (yes, in celebrity obsessed Britain this makes the news).
I'm sure that Paul Merton and Ian Hislop will make jokes at their expense, so it should be a fun programme!
Other topics that I think will be ridiculed could be the "election" of our new Prime Minister and the decision not to send Prince Harry to Iraq after all... and perhaps
the animal activists dumping a tonne of manure outside Claridges (to protest against Gordon Ramsay cooking horse meat on TV)
Hopefully we'll get in - and we won't get drenched whilst queuing up.
