Room 101

Today I've been working from home because when I got up, I was feeling dizzy and couldn't walk in a straight line!
I don't know whether it's the effect of the antibiotics, of the infection or just tiredness. I was all dressed and ready to go when I decided that I should be sensible: so I positioned a couple of Buccastem tablets between lip and gum (on the side that is not swollen), went back to bed for about an hour before connecting to the office's PC.

Last night we went to a recording of Room 101 at the BBC at White City.
We ended up queueing for more than 1 hour (1 queue for all the shows for half this time) and then we sat down for almost 3 and half hours (the recording itself took 3 hours) without a break.

We were quite surprised to see how long the host (comedian Frank Skinner) and the guests (actor Hugh Dennis, singer and 'legend' Cilla Black,  actress and 'The Great British Bake Off' presenter Mel Giedroyc - who appeared instead of the other TGBBO presenter Sue Perkins) worked: 3 hours for a programme that is cut down to 30 minutes (or 50 I believe for the extended version).
Said that, of course they all earn much more for those 3 hours than I do in 3 months (or longer!).
It was all quite entertaining but after a couple of hours I sort of had enough, although of course we stayed till the very end.

We got home just after 11:30 pm and with empty stomachs!
