Sim threw a great party last night to celebrate her 40th (pictures to follow) and so this morning we were all rather tired.
I got up at about 8:30 am and, as I saw that the sun was shining, I decided to assemble a mini-greenhouse that I bought a few weeks ago.
It'll stand in the gazebo and will be used for the seedlings.
David left straight after breakfast and Adrian and I went down to the local allotments to help Sue and Lynne.
Lynne is taking over half of Sue's allotment and we are probably going to share it.
2 hours of digging exhausted me again and I spent most of the afternoon lazing on the sofa watching TV too tired to do much else.
I managed to muster enough energy to pop out of our front door to take some pictures of some of the first spring flowers.
This is a Katharine Hodgkin iris; we saw some at
Chelsea Physic Garden last year and I bought some bulbs in the autumn.
