A Friday evening in Penge
My week-end has started with a dinner party.
Peter and Sim, Miranda and Lynne were our lovely guests.
I only cooked the starter (shrimps and peppers in a creamy, spicy sauce) and Adrian did all the rest (chicken and apricot koresh for main course, and ricotta tart for dessert).
It was Peter's birthday yesterday and so the ricotta tart acted as a birthday cake too.
There was much laughter and quite a few libations; but our guests didn't have to travel far to get home: Miranda across the road, Lynne one street up and Peter and Sim two.
