Getting through the entrance was surprisingly easy. But as soon as he stepped through the doorway, Roderich was perhaps literally taken to a different world. The club was oddly sophisticated for the entertainment it provided. Dim purple lights, in tasteful arrangement, lit up the interior of the avant-garde club. The attire of the workers was scandalous yet enticing, each wore a choker that almost looked like a dog collar with a tag to match.
Roderich had to look away. He navigated his way through the maze, keeping an eye out for Elizaveta. He edged toward the bar - the stage across from him showcased an Adonis-like performer - and scanned the patrons. He was just about to walk past the bar and headed into... yet another bar? when he was bumped into by raucous laughter.
"Excuse me..." he said but stopped before he even finished his thought. The person in his arms looked familiar. Too familiar. He narrowed his tired eyes at the flowing red hair. The brightness sparked his memory like ember to wood.
Oh, Princess. Why were you here?
"Dorothy?"
