WHO: Elizaveta, Roderich, Party Guests, and lots and lots of Strippers.
WHEN: Friday, October 23 - Saturday, October 24.
WHERE: K.i.N.K. - That wonderful strip club down that block.
WHAT: Elizaveta's birthday party gone awry.
How in the world did it end up like this?
Roderich pinched his chin nervously as he paced back and forth in front of the dim but surprisingly tasteful entrance. His heart thumped two beats faster than the music that leaked out every so often. The black-coated door whooshed open. A husky patron lowered his head in shame as soon as he saw Roderich's eyes and hurried into the darkness of the good night. But Roderich could care less about the man's choice of entertainment. He leaned on his toes, hoped to catch a glimpse of the interior - most particularly, a glimpse of Elizaveta.
But he only saw glowing neon lights and the grim face of the bouncer who eyed him suspiciously. Roderich broke the eye contact and drove back into a nervous pacing with no solution in mind. It was supposed to be a nice dinner and maybe a glass of wine afterward. It was only supposed to be a simple joint birthday celebration. Somehow, one glass of wine turned into two into three and before he knew it, Elizaveta was slouching over him, going on about something he didn't quite comprehend. The awful shame that they had to leave the dinner early so he could take her home.
But Gott, why was he so foolish? Why did he make the decision to walk through the wrong side of town, thinking it would be a short-cut? No, no, the short-cut turned to a full-on hindrance. He had no idea Elizaveta would leap out of his arms and laughed her way into the club.
He had no idea.
Roderich stopped pacing. He checked his watch. It had been too long. He had to do something. Even if, Heavens know, he did not want to ever step foot in such a place. He looked behind him and watched their friends slowly heading toward them. Oh, great, just great. Now, he would have to explain that Elizaveta decided to have a little night of fun. Perhaps, he should hide himself before he was spotted by the guests...
Swallowing his pride and his fear, he edged toward the entrance and prepared himself... as if anyone could ever prepare oneself for such fun and exciting adventure...
