A Very Belated Birthday
Who: Wilm and Kiku
When: Sunday, February 19th, 7:30 pm.
Where: Wilm's apartment
What: A belated birthday celebration
< School and work had kept them from celebrating on the actual day, so Willem wanted to make sure things went well tonight. True, Kiku would have been happy with any gesture, but since he'd made such an effort to make the Dutchman's birthday a good one Willem wanted to give him the same.
He'd gone with seafood, which was was both easy to make and was sure to be something Kiku would enjoy. Smoked herring and salmon waited, along with some green beans. He'd broken out the wood polish for the table, scrubbed the kitchen till it gleamed. Plates and silverware were already set out, a small vase of flowers decorating the middle.
Now he was just waiting for Kiku to arrive. >
