WHAT: Just a night of romance. Or, as Eru put it, just another sexy date.
Veronika knows that this is nothing relatively different from their usual dates, from the usual romantic antics Dewi likes to partake in in order to make her smile. And yet it feels entirely different all the same. Though, Veronika supposes she has this corporate and commercialized holiday to blame for the current giddy smile on her lips as her hand raises to delicately brush back her bangs.
They're both impeccably dressed and seated at a private table inside a rather posh and romantic restaurant, again nothing too out-of-character but still just as different. 'It's quite nice,' she can't help but muse for the umpteenth time as she picks up her wine glass, taking a small sip before flashing Dewi another smile. Idly, she watches the ways in which the candlelight flickers off his face before setting her glass down. "Thank you again, Dewi," Veronika says quietly, leaning over to intertwine her fingers with his own. "I'm still quite surprised that you did not have your students serenade me on campus for you. But I think this is just as nice," she teases, squeezing his hand before pulling away.
Ah, there it was again, that odd fluttery feeling in her stomach that had been plaguing her all day. Really, the things Dewi and this holiday were doing to her, Veornika thought with tender bemusement.
