WHO: Alfred and Emi
WHEN: December 20th, Monday afternoon
WHERE: Alfred and Matthew's apartment
WHAT: Finals are over and both Emi and Alfred think it's time to veg out in order to cope with their recent school traumas.
There were many things Emi figured she could be doing.
But lounging on Alfred and Matthew's sofa, arms wrapped loosely around her knees, and head reclining against the head of said sofa as she stared with mild interest at the tv screen in front of her (which subsequently consisted of Alfred playing some first-person shooter video game) was not exactly in her usual repertoire of relaxing and/or fun things to do. And yet she couldn't really bring herself to care. The past, combined stress of summer break and the fall semester were excuses enough for her to be here and indulging in anything but her usual pastimes.
Emi wondered, as she stretched beside Alfred and muffled a yawn, if she should get up and put the leftover pizza away from the blonde but realized she would much rather remain on the sofa a little while longer.
Upon arriving, there had been a quick scuffle about what to have for lunch (most of which involved Emi bullying Alfred into agreeing to something other than hamburgers). Following that, as much as he had pouted, the blonde had practically inhaled most of the pizza they had ordered while Emi inquired about where his brother was, how his finals had gone, and what he had planned for winter break (other than this, of course). But that had been two and a half hours ago and now, after watching Alfred play video games for half of that time, Emi found herself slowly beginning to nod off, head dropping near his shoulder but not close enough for the idiot to potentially hit her during his enthusiastic gaming.
