Who: Yao and Moon
When: Wednesday morning, June 22nd.
Where: Practice grounds outside Yao's home.
What: Skills need to stay sharp. This is all fun and games really, we swear. The two get together and spar. Simple as that.
The stitches had been restitched, and Moon didn't do what he should do right now, which was resting and give the new stitches a chance to actually work.
Instead he brought his sword over to Yao's home. It was time for a weekly sparring session. It was probably one of his favorite times a week, mostly because Yao gave him a proper challenge. The other was a natural with his sword, and Moon had to admit it was rather fun.
He let Remy and Atthis know he'd be back later that day after eating breakfast, and was on his way.
Being a duellist was challenging, rewarding and fun. It could be dangerous, but he felt it was worth it. If it hadn't been for these people, he'd probably still be scavenging the streets for food every day.
And it paid as well. Food, a nice bed to sleep in, a family to be with and a proper life, even if he'd promised his life for their safety. He didn't mind at all, they were all worth it.
At least they weren't spoiled brats. He admittedly thought Yao was like that at first, but had been pleasantly surprised.
He knocked on the door and waited, leaning against the wall and balancing his sword on his hand.
