WHAT: Nico discovered something interesting about an ordinary man who is a little more than he appears.
It was twilight yet again. The time of the day lured Nicoleta away from her abode and suggested that she should go to town. She donned a light and conservative black gown and used a lightweight cloth to put over her head - this is her 'old witch' outfit, or so the moronic children would say. Though she would like to take these silly rags off to breathe a little in her assassin's garments, she would be deemed too suspicious. the only weapons she had were two hidden blades, one in its sheathe under each wrist, silently awaiting for a command.
And so she strolled down the streets, her dress hems cascading with every jaunty step. There were a good about of people heading home and Nicoleta traversed through relatively unnoticed, save for the few who stopped to look at her face. She did not care, rather she was too occupied looking around for something to do. Her ennui with the city had made her days much less enjoyable.
Gigi, her precious cat, silently stalked an invisible man to a nearby toystore. From the outside looking in, it was rather empty. Curiously, Nicoleta invited herself in and then watched her step as the cat darted in. For some odd reason, Gigi acted more excited than usual but still carried that same emotionless expression. The cat climbed up the counter and stared into the eyes of a porcelain doll, as if he was having a private conversation with whatever soul was trapped inside.
Nicoleta smiled out of amusement and then approached the counter. She took a second to marvel at the interior of the store. Then she wondered why no one was around. "Is anyone here?" She bellowed wearily.
