Awhile, well not really. It stays pretty perfect actually, all of the time, but despite that he insists on going to the hair salon and very often at that. Even though it's looked exactly the same since he was a kid. And really with all the unnecessary treatment his hair could go even a few more years looking the same without him even touching it.
That doesn't matter, though. What matters is that it takes him a couple hours to get it done. He spends a huge amount of that time ooh'ing and awe'ing at all the pictures of the other styles in the magazines, picking out the ones he likes the best, and then never getting any of them.
Feliks was just leaving one of those sessions at the moment. He had his head halfway in the door waving goodbye to all the nice salon ladies, before he twisted around towards the street with a really loud 'see you next week!'. From the sudden movement he had to hold his arms out so he wouldn't go tumbling off the curb. He straightened himself back up and instantly flung a hand up to make sure his hair was okay.
It was... of course.
He took in that feeling of relief and then... just stood there in a stupor, realizing now was the time when he was supposed to walk back home... walk... back home. He looked up and sighed deeply at the pretty sky, hoping it would solve all his problems.
