Pushing open the door to the Winchester, Siri stepped inside, blinking as her eyes adjusted to the low lighting. She never understood why the outer lights had to be so bright when the inside was so dim.
Siri hoped Mina hadn't been waiting long. She had nodded off on the couch a few hours ago, and it wasn't until Lára shook her to ask her if she was making dinner that she realized the time. She had dashed out, but she still was a few minutes late. Hopefully she hadn't kept the other girl, but as she had yet to spy Mina that likely wasn't to be a problem.
Taking her normal Tuesday evening seat, Siri tugged the bowl of nuts closer to her. Good--the bar looked as empty as it normally was at this time. Every so often their Tuesday get-togethers were interrupted by random influxes of customers, typically undergrads, and they generally ruined the evening.
Finally catching sight of her friend, Siri waved and called out, "Mina!"
