In which Lára ends up in a maid outfit
Who: Wang Qiu, Lára
Where: Huayuan Royal Cafe
When: Wednesday January 26th, afternoon

Lára wasn't even sure how or why she had ended up in Huayuan.... Okay, that was a lie. Except she wasn't about to admit to going half way across Liberty just to buy some licorice and hard-boiled sweets, especially when there was a convenience store right beside the Charleston.
But there she was, plastic bag full of sweets groceries in one hand and shoulder bag in the other, drifting from one over-crowded store to another with idle interest and little attention.
And it was that lack of attention that had her wander a little too closely to one very popular maid cafe. Two frilled up maids at the door gave Lára little time to backtrack, chiming いらしゃいませ！in what was no doubt mandatory practiced Japanese before stepping aside to welcome her into the shop.
"Sorry. I'm really not interested." A quick glance into the cafe- because she'd never been that close to it before- left Lára lingering a moment too long, and her eyes locked with those of someone she'd never expected to see.
"Q-Qiu..." In a maid outfit.
Lára's friend began to move towards her and in response she prepared to run.
Curiosity killed the cat. This was not going to end well.
