Cradling a bottle of whine (she had no idea where her brother's preferences lie, to be honest) she quickly made her way over to her brother's apartment. She'd actually been putting it off for day now, one because she didn't know what do get him anyway, and two because things were always awkward with him. If they had KeKe there to break the tension it was a little better, but not by much.
Ali was figuring that she'd just get it over with quickly, say thanks for the present and then hand her own over and head off. Simple enough plan. Too bad it wouldn't go down like that.
