(
They say love is blind, but this is a god damn crime! )
"But I wanted too" The spanish man whispered lightly before letting go. He then pushed himself up to a standing position once more and turned to look back at Romano, a light blush on his face at what he had done but deciding it was too late now. Antonio smiled lightly at the other man before holding out a hand to help him up, half expecing Romano to ignore him.

He'd never really gotten used to the Spaniard's odd displays of affection, and this had unsettled him more than it rightfully should have.
Perhaps because he had wanted- no, needed- it then.
Stop blushing...stop blushing...god why the fuck was he blushing?
Romano jerked his head away, refusing to acknowledge the other man's similarly tinged complexion or outstretched hand. Reaching for his bag he quickly stood to his feet, striding past both Antonio and Kim and towards the door.
He must have a fever. That must be it. There was no other reason why he should react to something like that.
"Fine, whatever. Just hurry up already."

Taking a deep breath [and reassuring himself that he was no longer blushing] the Italian turned to wait for his companions, digging his hands into his pockets and frowning out of habit.
After he had finally calmed down fully Romano was met with another daunting realisation; It was almost midday and he still hadn't eaten anything [tomato aside.] Damn he was hungry, he only hoped wherever Antonio was going next was near some sort of mall.

When they reached the restaurant, he stopped to inspect the overhanging entrance sign. International food...well at least he had some chance of finding pizza decent food here, but wasn't Antonio going for another interview?
He doubted either of them had much money to spend on expensive food, but there was no way Romano was going to last the whole day without eating anything in order to save money that Feliciano would've probably spend on wine anyway.
Directing a "are you serious" quizzical look in Antonio's direction, Romano passed him into the restaurant. If the Spaniard wanted to spend money he wasn't about to stop him.

The Spaniard looked up and, almost on instinct, Romano dropped his head. It bothered him to see the man so forlorn, it just looks so damn odd. He felt like every time Antonio's good mood faded, it sucked all the life and light out of the room with it. It just wasn't normal.
"...Why the hell was that so hard to say?"
Somehow, he could understand how hard something like that would be to get through. The circumstances were different between their two families, but in the end the effect was the same.
The Italian's response to his last comment was no more than a hasty "I'm not hungry," blindly hoping that it would suffice. Sure he'd almost raided the Spaniard's kitchen that morning, and had complained since but...Antonio wasn't that bright, right?
Dammit, if only the other hadn't fed him so many damn times.
