Antonio thought about what the Italian said for a minute and hesitating, looking at him out of the corner of his eye. He turned and was very tempted to hug him. The spanish man put his legs down and his palms onto the bench. Thankfully, his dignity wasn't as easily hurt as Romano's was, and he quickly wrapped his arms around the shorter man.

"But I wanted too" The spanish man whispered lightly before letting go. He then pushed himself up to a standing position once more and turned to look back at Romano, a light blush on his face at what he had done but deciding it was too late now. Antonio smiled lightly at the other man before holding out a hand to help him up, half expecing Romano to ignore him.

Eyes widened slightly as the distance between them closed. Antonio's arms wrapped around him and Romano remained completely motionless, his attention still very much locked on the floor.
He'd never really gotten used to the Spaniard's odd displays of affection, and this had unsettled him more than it rightfully should have.
Perhaps because he had wanted- no, needed- it then.

Stop blushing...stop blushing...god why the fuck was he blushing?
Romano jerked his head away, refusing to acknowledge the other man's similarly tinged complexion or outstretched hand. Reaching for his bag he quickly stood to his feet, striding past both Antonio and Kim and towards the door.
He must have a fever. That must be it. There was no other reason why he should react to something like that.
"Fine, whatever. Just hurry up already."

Toni hugging Romano was..... Actually extremely cute. When Romano stood up, she sorta snapped out of whatever daze she was in while Toni was talking to him. And were they blushing? They so were. She had to kill a giggle and smile, so instead she just bit her lip, watching Romano now stand up and head to the door, before she followed him, glancing back at Toni, seeing him blush.

Antonio watched as Romano strode past him and slipped his hand into his pocket. Had Romano actually blushed? He blinked a couple of times, the Italian's voice finally snapping him out of his daze and smiling at Kim. He even managed to blush a little more before heading after the two. He looked up at the clock on his way out and realized that he had ten minutes to get to his next interview.

It wasn't until he got to the door that reality struck; Romano had no idea where they were going. So much for keeping ahead of them.
Taking a deep breath [and reassuring himself that he was no longer blushing] the Italian turned to wait for his companions, digging his hands into his pockets and frowning out of habit.

After he had finally calmed down fully Romano was met with another daunting realisation; It was almost midday and he still hadn't eaten anything [tomato aside.] Damn he was hungry, he only hoped wherever Antonio was going next was near some sort of mall.

Antonio chuckled lightly when he noticed Romano stop in his tracks. He smiled and pulled a hand out of his pocket, ruffling the Italians hair as he had done to Kim previously. This ruffling was much lighter and quicker however, knowing that if he kept it up he would most likely earn a punch to the ribs. Something he really didn't want to happen today...well...ever really ( ... )

By the mention of food, Kim's stomach made a low growling sound. The portion of pho hadn't filled her up too much, apparently. " Sounds great. But what about your other interview?" she asked, walking into the restaurant. Her nostrils filled with delicious smells of different dishes.

Romano jerked his head away when Antonio went to ruffle it, shooting him a death glare the other would be all too familiar with. He didn't like anyone, anyone touching his hair, and the Spaniard was no exception.

When they reached the restaurant, he stopped to inspect the overhanging entrance sign. International food...well at least he had some chance of finding pizza decent food here, but wasn't Antonio going for another interview?
He doubted either of them had much money to spend on expensive food, but there was no way Romano was going to last the whole day without eating anything in order to save money that Feliciano would've probably spend on wine anyway.

Directing a "are you serious" quizzical look in Antonio's direction, Romano passed him into the restaurant. If the Spaniard wanted to spend money he wasn't about to stop him.

Antonio ignored Romano's look and fallowed his friends into the restaurant, taking a seat when lead to a table. He got situated before thinking of something to say to Kim's inquisition, looking down at his plate. He picked up the silverware and unwrapped it. The spanish man then promptly began to fidget with them, rearranging the order he placed them in. However he soon realized what he was doing and stopped ( ... )

Head resting in his hand, Romano idly watched his friend rearrange the cutlery and rearrange it again. There was definitely something up; it didn't take a genius (fortunately) to understand that ( ... )

Antonio winced lightly at Romano's tone of voice and that tone enough was almost enough to make him loose his facade. However, he forced it to stay and tried to force himself to look at the Italian. When he did he realized the mistake he had made and quickly looked away, down at the table cloth as if it had the most interesting pattern he had ever seen adorned on it ( ... )

Oh, but it wasn't going to work that easily. Romano would much rather push Antonio for answers, than have the conversation swung around to even nick at the corners of his own.

The Spaniard looked up and, almost on instinct, Romano dropped his head. It bothered him to see the man so forlorn, it just looks so damn odd. He felt like every time Antonio's good mood faded, it sucked all the life and light out of the room with it. It just wasn't normal.
"...Why the hell was that so hard to say?"
Somehow, he could understand how hard something like that would be to get through. The circumstances were different between their two families, but in the end the effect was the same.

The Italian's response to his last comment was no more than a hasty "I'm not hungry," blindly hoping that it would suffice. Sure he'd almost raided the Spaniard's kitchen that morning, and had complained since but...Antonio wasn't that bright, right?
Dammit, if only the other hadn't fed him so many damn times.

"Because they don't know if she'll be getting better" Antonio hesitated gently, swirling around the ice in his glass absentmindedly. He really didn't mind dropping the subject of the Italian's meal. Especially since he could have very well eaten before he had come over to Antonio's apartment and then raided the fridge just because he felt like it ( ... )
