WHO: Nielsen and Sindre
WHEN: Towards the end of December, 1999
WHERE: High school/high school dorms
WHAT: Sindre tries to ditch a nuisance.
Sindre smiled slightly to himself as he pushed open the doors to exit the school building. Sure, most of his friends were leaving and he wasn't able to go home, but it was break. Finals were over, the weather had finally taken a turn towards winter, and he had no more classes until January. And it wasn't as if he were completely alone. A few friends were staying in the dorms as well, and a large portion of his classmates lived near enough to the school. Kari had promised to convince her parents to have him over at least once to get him out of the dorms, which would be nice. And, truth be told, he was looking forward to having some time to himself. Time to read for pleasure, to finish the letters to send back home, and to just generally unwind.
The best part of break, however, would be getting away from Nielsen. Sindre didn't have to go to school, wasn't required to see him in classes, and he was looking forward to not seeing him.
Sindre didn't understand Nielsen. He had never done anything to draw Nielsen's attention. Had never mocked him, had never commented on him, had never spoken to him. Yet out of nowhere, the stupid, annoying, obnoxious, rude, loud Dane decided Sindre would be his favorite tormentee. Nielsen stole Sindre's books, deliberately annoyed him with his ever-ridiculous stunts, did his level best to get him in trouble with teachers, and generally did anything he could to make Sindre's day worse.
Not any more though. Sindre was free, and as such, he wasn't going to spare Nielsen a second thought. He couldn't wait for his quiet vacation to--
"Oi! Wait up!"
