Who: Gilbert and Zhi
When: November 23rd
Where: Morong Studio
What: Everybody was KUNG-FU FIGHTIN'. Gilbert needs some new moves to protect his girlfriend(?) from a Turk.
Gilbert needed to learn how to kick ass (more than he already did because there was already much ass-kickery in his genes) and that meant learning a different fighting style than punching the other guy as hard as you could until he stopped moving. He'd perfected that technique with Arthur and now he needed something with a little more class, a little more style. And what could be better than martial arts? He'd be like the chicks in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and he wouldn't even need the cranes.
He'd master wire-fu without wires.
This goal had taken him deep into Liberty City's Chinatown, picking around, trying to find someone who looked like Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan but most just seemed to be sitting in restaurants or out in the street and tending to their small market stands. Not exactly ninja-master material. Gilbert really needed someone awesome. Like an Asian version of himself. Gilbert-Chan? Something like that. While wandering around, he bought a small box of something called 'Pocky' finding it to be almost as awesome as wurst, dancing a little as he walked past a building with large windows.
And then he saw him.
That one boy, determined eyes and... Gilbert didn't know what he was doing but it was badass and before he knew it, he was pressing up against the glass, watching the boy with wild eyes.
He'd found his master.
