It took a lot to calm the brute down, especially when his lip had curled into a smile that bordered on predatory; sadistic even, as if he was about to receive some great joy out of hitting the two girls. Adrenaline was going, but he allowed Elizaveta to pull him backwards, away from the scene and into the security of their room. Sadiq still had fight in him. Pushing Thera was the least he could do right now, and he had yet to give the other girl a swift smack across the cheek. Oh no, the games couldn't be over.
Yet it was strange, how badly he wanted to go at it despite how the rest of his body just felt weak and numb; useless. He couldn't have pushed Liz away if he tried. All he could do was smile and stumble along with her, his expression promising the others that no, he wasn't even close to being done with them yet. Like Liz had said earlier, the tough Turk was at his breaking point.
The door closed behind them, but Sadiq's gaze hadn't shifted over to his partner, as his own hazel eyes were instead watching the space behind her. At the door, as if trying to will it open again, and he was so close to shoving her aside so he could get back out there. Just when things were getting exciting, right? The man grinned and put his hand on the closed door, though it stayed put as his jaw clenched tight; some kind of internal struggle. He knew if he went back out there, he would be no better than the damn wolves. Submitting to the game to make it's Master pleased. Slowly, his smile disappeared only to be replaced with a scowl, and fingers curled into a fist beside Elizaveta's head. What was he doing?
Once they had both seemed to have gained their footing again, Liz slowly spoke up again, voice low and lacking the life it usually possessed. She too was weary, but Sadiq listened to her patiently, breath evening out as clues and pieces to the puzzle began to form into one solid picture. He had to say, it made sense. Whether it was Ivan and Rory, or Ion and Garcia, he really didn't give a shit less either way. Sadiq hated everyone here. He didn't trust a soul except for Liz.
"Wish I could just kill them myself and save the wolves the trouble, eh?" He grumbled bitterly as she finished, his tone dripping with both venom and sarcasm. "So you're thinking Ivan? I get what you're saying n' all, but I still wanna write down Remy and Thera. Heh... It would save me from losing my sanity completely."
Elizaveta stared dumbly at her partner. He had... he had reached it. His breaking point. Sadiq had officially lost it. He was lost to her. She had seen him break once, back in junior high. But it wasn't like it was now. He was going to get them killed.
Instead of feeling worried, or even sad, Lizzy could only feel something in her stomach, churning around and making her cheeks feel warm. Was she actually angry? Yes. Yes she was. Her cheeks went rosy with fury, and her eyes blazes. How could he. How could he even do that to her. She was just at the point of punching everyone as well. The Game Master, the wolves, the rabbits, everyone. Everything was just so fucking frustrating. But Sadiq had beaten her to it. And he was thirsty for a fight. Her hands clenched. Had he already lost all common sense?
"You stupid, stupid man." She said slowly, her voice shaking with anger. "Have to be violent, don't you? Just because you saw too many deaths, you decide to close off your mind and your heart, huh? How dare you. How dare you do this to me." She couldn't hold it back anymore. She slapped him clear across the face, feeling good from the rush of blood going to her hand. It was so long since she let her feelings out like this. He probably didn't even feel it, the brute. She was lacking in strength, but her anger fueled her to keep going. "Save you from losing your sanity, did you say? I'd say it was gone already. Listen to the shit you're sprouting, idiot. Go back to the regular Sadiq. I hate this part of you. I hate it."
She wanted to hit him again and again, until all her anger and tears were gone. She wanted to cry and leave this place. She wanted to keep on living. "Don't you dare do this to me, you jerk. I swear... I'll hurt you. I'll hurt you so bad. Listen to me and go back to the old fucking Sadiq." To emphasize her point, she took the first thing she could hold--a necklace that she had taken off a few days ago and smashed it on the floor, the small jewel shattering into a million pieces. "Don't you dare do this to me!"

Sadiq had felt so satisfied with himself, convinced that he'd properly informed Liz that his decision had been made before she ever opened her mouth. As the room grew silent again, he placed his arm at his side once again, standing straight as their eyes bored into one another. Sadiq's careless gaze against her disbelief, two very different shades of green clashing in the deafening silence.
Slowly, Elizaveta found her voice again, though the words that left her mouth had Sadiq being the one taken aback. To a point that he could only blink down at her. Her and that tone laced with disappointment. Though he listened once again to every note and syllable, even if his brain was drunk on earlier's adrenaline and was now exhausted. She spoke bitterly, trying so hard to stay strong so not to allow that voice to crack and show just how bare she really was. She went on, but at some point the older man just stopped listening; noticing for once just how pale her skin was against her angrily flushed cheeks, and how thin she'd become over the past few days. Her hair oily, and both of them needing a bath. Yet Liz remained strong, and it was just as the palm of her hand met his stubbly cheek that he realized this.
She was still fighting, while Sadiq was practically giving up.
Stunned, the man carefully brought a hand up to touch the place where the smack was placed, wincing from it's sting. But it felt so real. Elizaveta was angry, and she was fed up with his shit -- which he would be too, if he was in her place. And then she crushed her necklace beneath the toe of her shoe, creating an audible pop around her shouting, and given everything... Sadiq finally realized what an ass he was making of himself. What had happened? A few days ago, he promised Liz they'd get out; going so far as to hug her in the midst of the whole shit-tastic game. Who was he to take it all away again?
His brows had knitted together, teeth pressed tight together as he watched Liz fume. Sadiq wasn't one to say sorry, nor was he a guy who willingly admits when he's wrong. He really preferred to speak through actions... which was probably why he got into so much trouble.
He sighed finally, letting out that hot air just before placing his arms on the girl's shaking shoulders, trying to calm her down somewhat before leaning down. Sadiq kissed her left cheek once, and then the right, an action that was bittersweet after everything that had happened. He hated himself for letting his emotions get the best of him, and even more-so for upsetting Liz of all people. He'll likely have a new opinion towards poking fun at her for days to come. "... We'll make it outta here."
