"Beside, where's the clue pointing to me?" Rory added, gesturing at herself. It had been getting frustrating how anything seemed to be linked back to Ivan somehow. The guy had to be one of the most visibly shaken by what was happening, tearing at her inside as she was beginning to feel that she needed to care for him more than Peter and Remy. Syestra, she had heard him murmur that more and more often around her and it really didn't help in anything except leaving her confused.
"Both in a pair have to be the wolf." She said, grasping at Ivan's arm. "Every clue so far points at several possibilities...I'm sure we could even connect you," She pointed at Yao at this point, "if we really wanted or had enough time to but that still wouldn't give us a pair of wolves." Fuck! Where was she trying to go with this? Would anyone even listen to her? A frustrated sigh escaped Rory's lips as she leant against Ivan, trying desperately to make the right choice in her head before going into that booth.
Lucy was still curled up next to her door, arms around her knees and she only vaguely looked up at the two women as her and her partner were addressed. Her eyes seemed almost hallow as she spoke.
"Do you have... any reason to blame us?" her voice was quiet and she shook her head. "L-Loto was... my... best friend. I-I... Jared lost- Emi and you're going to just- stand there and blame us?"
The young girl's eyes locked with Thera's and she shook her head. "If you really- don't like me that much then vote for me. I-I don't care anymore. It'll get me out of here quicker."
Thera's gaze locked on Lucy. The woman's expression was mixed. Anger, cold indifference, and under that, pity. "Yes. I'm going to say you and Jared are the wolves. It's not because I personally hate you, though I might now that we've figured it out. I don't know what this insane game master has over your head, but the fact of the matter is I think you're responsible for Loto and Otto's deaths. I suspected you and Jared from the beginning, but-"
Thera glanced to Remy, almost apologetically. "-it was Remy who put together the clue."
"Go ahead then," Lucy murmured, replacing her head in her arms and letting out a shaky breath, fingers curling in the fabric of her dress. "Tell me... Tell me how something- that has... n-nothing even to do with us, that-"
Her arms started to tremble more, red, red eyes glowing up at her in her mind's eye. Lucy shoved herself up and stormed over to the woman, grabbing Thera by the front of her shirt and yanking her forward.
"Tell me why the FUCK I would have to see LOTO dead, pale, with fucking red eyes glowing up at me if I was in with this goddamn Game Master?" she screeched. "TELL ME WHY GODDAMNIT!"
"Explain, now!" He barked at the woman, arm still wrapped tightly around Rory's as if to hold himself back. His fingers constricted around the rusted work of the pipe. "I don't see any evidence pointed toward either Lucy or Jared! I may not know Lucy, but Jared would not kill Emi! I know Jared!"
"The wolves didn't kill Emi. We all saw the video." She trembled at the memory. "She died the same way that... That Raivis and Valdi did. So, whoever's behind all this killed them. Probably to manipulate Jared into doing what they wanted. She was already dead when we got here."
"Tell me then," his voice dropped an octave, low as a growl in his throat. "Why would you do someone's bidding if the ransom doesn't exist? Would you be motivated if the reason behind your murder is dead?! Emi is dead! If she was motivation to turn Jared into a killer, then what good is a dead motivation?! 'Kill or we take Emi', that is what you are thinking, da? EMI IS ALREADY DEAD."
She shook her head "Killing Emi was meant to show him what they can do to the people he loves, if he doesn't do what they say. It would have worked on any of us. It's not 'or we take Emi,' it's: 'or this will happen to more people.' The real game master was giving him a display of power. They can get to people on the outside, and make them suffer."
He pressed the joint between his thumb and forefinger against the bridge of his nose... and laughed. "You don't start with the most important one! Emi is the only person Jared cares about. I was his friend in High School, and he wouldn't bat an eyelash taking my life if Emi were still alive!"

Still, her siblings were on the line here. Maybe she trusted her professor, and Lucy as well, but....
"She's right." She stood at Thera's elbow, waiting for the inevitable questions.
