He heard the small peeps of Gilbird and removed himself from the depths of the rows of fabrics, rushing towards her, arms filled with the soft and light rolls of delicate fabrics. In his hair was perched a very lovely headband. "Lili, it's awesome you're here, I need to measure you right away."
He placed the fabrics on the counter, smiling at her, taking off the headband and putting it in her hair instead. "Sie sind eine ehrfürchtige Prinzessin~" He said, ruffling her hair as Gilbird fluttered to land in his hair, "Now go on, take off that heavy coat."
[translation: you will be an awesome princess]

"Danke Gilbert. A princess is absolutely perfect! And this headband...it's just so pretty!" Her small hands clapped together in front of her as a wide smile grew across her face. Princesses were always so pretty! Maybe she could be pretty like them for Halloween!

"Lili," he said, pulling the measuring tape along her thin limbs idly, humming a bit to himself, "Do you have a favourite princess?" He was of course referencing the own noble lineage of the Prussian house, however he wasn't about to give the girl a long rant about Princess Charlotte if she answered with something a little more mainstream, like Snow White or Cinderella.
He'd save the long rants about Prussian history for quiet days at the shop.

"Well, if you mean real princesses, I do think that Princess Sophie of Liechtenstein is quite lovely. B-but the romance and fantasy of those fairy tale stories always interested me more as a child. I guess, Aschenputtel, or Cinderella here in America, is my favorite." She smiled and laughed a bit remembering hearing the story read to her so many times by her bruder. A part of her almost missed the good old days. Some things never changed.
"How about you Mr. Gilbert? Do you have a favorite princess?"
