It's too cold for this crap

Oct 26, 2010 07:51

Who: Junior and Kimmy
When: Tuesday morning, October 26th.
Where: Baroque street, Junior's fancy stall.
What: Kimmy goes shopping for food and other things.

The thing about late classes that Kim loved was that it gave her time to do other things in the morning. Today she had gone to Huayuan to get some food and tea, since they were almost out of it at home. She only bought tea from that area, cause it had the best.

The ingredients for pho also tasted better from this place.

Happy with her purchases after a little hour, she headed out of Huayuan and decided to just take a walk and see where she got. That trip got her to Baroque street, an area she hadn't been in a while. It was a bit chilly, the leaves were red and orange and falling slowly from the trees. It was rather pretty, even though Kim preferred summer. After ten years in Liberty she still missed the warm summers in Vietnam. If she could save up enough, she'd take a trip back during the winter. Hopefully... She had days when she just wanted to pack up everything and go back and stay for a while.

After walking for about ten minutes, she saw a few stalls, and tilted her head. People actually willingly put out stalls in this cold? Interesting...

status: dead, i'd tap that, do i dazzle you~*~*~?, haiti, vietnam
