>w> I LOVE THAT SONG <333 And I couldn't resist x3 vicious_wolf July 29 2010, 17:10:44 UTC
Lack of milk only meant one thing for Moon. He needed to restock. A day without milk was... Not something he wanted to experience. Ever since he was a baby, he'd practically lived off milk. It was his favorite drink.

He was gonna go home, but something made him stop and turn his head. Was that singing he heard?

And such a pretty voice too... Moon had to go see who it was, so he searched for the source, and shortly after found a young girl on the pier.

What was a girl doing here all by herself?

He waited till the song ended, looking at her. The song itself almost made him feel sad.

"....Are you ok?" was the first thing that came to his mind, and he said it right away. The girl seemed sad...

At the voice, Lucy's heart almost leaped out of her chest and she quickly scrambled to her feet. Her hands found the top railing and she clung to it, staring wide-eyed up at the man that had questioned her- oh God he was tall- oh man she should've gone home- what if he was one of those insane murderers and he was going to kill her?-

Her fingernails dug into the damp wood and swallowed- why was she freaking out? He had just asked a simple question-

...Are you ok?

"O-oh... Y-Yeah I'm just... I'm fine-" Luce stammered out quickly, still staring up at him. "Who... who are you?"

Lucy, why so cute? XD vicious_wolf July 29 2010, 20:37:45 UTC
The sudden reaction made Moon blink. Had he scared her by coming up just like that?

Maybe he should've called out to her instead of coming up behind her... People could get scared.

"I'm Moon. I just wondered... You sounded sad." he said, looking down at her.

"What's your name?"

Well there went her lonely pity party night. Lucy-Marie sighed heavily, half-turning back towards the ocean and fidgeting nervously with her hair. "I'm Luce," she murmured quietly. Moon, that was a pretty name. Odd, but, pretty none the less.

"And... I'm fine, it's silly really. Moon like... the moon right?," she questioned, glancing back at him and pointing up at the nearly full moon. "That's cool..."

To have the courage to go outside during broad daylight after what had happened oh those weeks ago could only possibly happen if maybe their was some sort of liquid substance backing the young glacier trekker in the days voyage. But being the underage guy he was, no liquor could come into his possession, not as if he wanted it though seeing as how it lead to the embarrassing permanent branding that had been planted on his lower back. Idea of one Logan Mortlock, but the birthday night had been filled with enough liquid courage to practically blur out the entire night with an easing fog til' this day. It's all for the best really ( ... )

Lucy flushed, about to answer Moon's question when she heard a a yell coming from underneath her and she swore she jumped a foot in the air. Cursing in Creole, she blinked at Moon. "Did you hear that?" she asked quickly.

Peaking through the railing, she looked below and blinked at the pair of hands clinging to a sea-salted rusty ladder below her feet. "O-Oh Dieu! How did-" she hung off of the pier a little more, using one hand to keep her on it and hooking a foot just to be careful. "How the hell did you get down there! Moon! Help me!" she ordered quickly, trying to reach a hand down to the boy.

Moon heard that as well and nodded. "Yeah I did." he said, leaning over shortly after Lucy did. When he saw the boy stuck to the ladder, his eyes widened a little. What in the world was he doing there? This late?

Wasn't he cold?

Seeing as Lucy couldn't reach him, Moon got up and down the ladder. The waves weren't as calm as before, but at least didn't wash over them.

"Here." he reached out a hand to the boy. It wasn't that hard to climb up, but maybe the boy was scared or something.

The second he was put down on dry land his legs felt like gelatin as he grabbed onto the railing to steady himself. "T-t-t-thank you." he said between chattering teeth.

Shivers ran up and down his spine as he barely understood the now humiliating situation he was in. He looked like a drowned rat in front of a pretty girl and hell if he wasn't embarrassed being saved by her friend.

"S-sorry I just uh," he stuttered, "I couldn't help but hear your conversation when was stuck down there!"

He had hoped they wouldn't be too mad, "I really didn't mean to..." he tried to explain, between his accent and stuttering it only made him that much harder to understand.

"B-but I jus' couldn't help it, you have such a beautiful voice miss..!" he told the tiny tanned siren.
