Sadiq's fingers drummed on the countertop, face resting on an open palm. It was a terribly slow day, and he was practically dying of boredom. Save for the current customer who was browsing through their collection of exotic candies, it was just him in the store. That was....until he walked in.
The bell chimed quietly in the signal that someone had entered the shop. Without even looking a sense of dread filled Sadiq, shivers prickling just along the back of his neck. Twitching his eyes to see who it was, he nearly groaned out loud. Surely, surely that man would have more sense to come to shop at the very same store he worked at! (Although, admittiedly, that man was also very dumb....so perhaps it was excusable that he would find his way here.)
Turning his head away, Sadiq pretended not to notice Heracles as he flitted through the store. If luck was on his side, Heracles would see him and decide to leave. Of course, luck was not, and Heracles continued to go through the store. At long last he interrupted the man's browsing session with a lout clearing of his throat. "Can I help you?" He asked in a rude, borderline snobbish, tone of voice.
