Hi Gang!
So how is everyone? I'm good. Carrie says Hi!
I had my utrasound on Friday and I guess it went ok. I won't get results until I call (if I call) on Monday. I wore a whole SCAD of lucky charms, so I am sure I will be fine.
Saturday I got up early so I could get a JUMP on the crowds at Ikeas. I got there too early though, and the store wasn't open yet. I went upstairs to the cafe and experienced their breakfast selection. I wasn't that hungry, not for a full breakfast, so I got a biscuit and a cup of coffee.
As soon as the stores lights popped on, I grabbed the storage boxes I came for and was on my way out (following the arrows on the floor) but of course stopped and picked up a couple other things on the way to the check out.
I got this bedding set for $11.00 (sale) for the big down twin bed thingie my Mom sleeps on when she comes over to spend the night. Poor Mom, I don't have an extra bedroom she can call her own...it's my art studio. She camps out here in the livingroom. Peanut was testing out the bedding for her. :)
While I was gone to Ikeas, Kip had two teenage boys over to do some yard work. A couple weekends ago they cleared away a lot of growth etc. from our driveway and dumped some potted roses that were dead.
This time we had them clear out all the over grown periwinkle vines. When I got home I saw this :(
Ok, I know it was over grown and all, but now look. Geez, It looks like a garden weasle went ba-serk or something.
After seeing that, I decided to leave again :) and drove off to a yarn store about 30 minutes away. (Hoping the front yard would all be planted with lovey spring flowers upon my return)
I get to the yarn store and promptly get a panic attack & dizzy spell :( I stayed only for about 20 mins. because I was worring that I wouldn't be able to drive home....and also it was going to POUR rain any second.
My panic attack didn't stop me from buying some cool ribbon yarns though ;)
I get home, lay down....and I was better after a few minutes.
Today, I got a lot of work done on my new art studio space---but alas I am beat, so I think I will go knit in bed and watch the rest of the Oscars.
Night all!
Lo**
