Windy Friday
Hi Everyone,
I kinda had a bad day yesterday...depressed and very tired, so I slept most the time. (Sorry Patti & Valerie that I didn't call you back)
I got up at 5:30am this morning ---well, I actually woke up at 3am, because we are having some major wind gusts and every wind chime was clanging and I worried about all our old trees out front (breaking) like this one across the street! A couple months ago another branch broke off this same tree and hit the house --not bad---just the gutter mainly, but I am sure they will chop the whole thing down now. Then across the street my neighbor will be waking up to this mess from his palm trees.
So far (knock on wood) our old trees have hung in there. Speaking of knocking on wood. I saw in someones Etsy store, a artist made a silver ring that had a polished chunk of wood on the top that was stamped on the band "knock on wood" so you would always have it to clank if you were looking around for real wood to not jinx something (ok, that sentence made no sense did it) Anyway, I thought that was pretty clever. Let me see if I can find it...Oh HERE!
