Cretinism - I mean creationism
Okay , maybe this is just me getting on my usual high horse, but how can a Rhodes scholar with a bachelor's degree in biology from Brown University make a statement like "There’s no scientific theory that explains how you can create organic life out of inorganic matter" when there obviously are quite a few such theories? Thanks, Bobby Jindal, for reminding me of the dangers of being vaguely interested in someone touted by Rush Limbaugh.
Some days I think I should give up LJ altogether, since lately I only crawl out of my cave for little flurries of frustration like this one. Maybe I'll write again soon...It's not like this has been a totally news-less summer.
