He’d seen her before, back in the Into the New World days at the hair salon, he thought she was tall and oh so much more.
Then MBLAQ had they debut they were going every radio show and entertainment show. They were on Starry Night the same time Sooyoung was dj-ing, and of course Joon confessed the first time he saw her, he thought she defiantly has grown up since those days.
Then Girls’ Generation showed off their new song Oh! At Seoul Awards, he couldn’t keep his eyes off of her. He thought his tiny crush was coming back. Later on they were both appearing on the same shows such as Star Dance Battle and boy didn’t he enjoy that, and then Star Golden Bell.
During Star Golden Bell because he sat at the back and she sat in the second row he could steal looks at her, it was even better when she was talking he had an excuse to look. She is quite a funny girl he thought smiling, the show has finished recording and everyone is backstage.
Joon grabbed a water bottle from the table that were been handed out, he turned around and saw her standing next to him grabbing pieces of fruit on the table. He took his chance, “Hey” she looked at him, she couldn’t smile with her mouth cause she had fruit in it instead she smiled with her eyes.
She finished what was in her mouth and spoke “Hi”, “You were pretty funny out there” he said taking a sip out of his bottle. “Oh, thanks people would just say stop being silly Sooyoung” she said smiling she went on “It’s nice to talk to you again” once she said that his face grew wider. “Yeah, it’s nice talking to you again as well”. “Sooyoung ah” she saw Sunny telling her to come over. “I have to go, I’ll see you” she smiled and walked off. Oh how Joon wish that conversation went longer.
For the past week he couldn’t get Sooyoung out of his head, it’s quite frustrating when you’re trying to learn a dance step yet all you see is your heart desire’s legs.
An event was happening tonight all Kpop was invited MBLAQ was one of the first to arrive, then Super Junior came which everyone went crazy for after them SNSD arrived, Joon thought the people were crazy for Super Junior they were mental for SNSD. Joon’s eyes searched for Sooyoung when they landed on her his eyes went big, she looked absolutely speechless. She was wearing black high heels that showed off her legs, with a dark blue dress that went just above her knees, her hair tied up high with her ponytail hanging down to the middle of her back with her side fringe out.
He couldn’t look away god she was a sight. The other girls looked great in their blue and red dresses but Sooyoung she had something special going on. She spotted him and smiled at him, he almost lost his footing and smiled back he turned back around walking up the carpet.
Once inside everyone was chatting to each other, Joon watched SNSD and Super Junior interact, it was frustrating seeing the boys hug and talk to Sooyoung why couldn’t he, he started to feel the jealousy butterflies crawl into his stomach when Sungmin, Si won and Ryeowook hugged her, when Donghae hi five d her and even when Kyuhyun looked at her then bowed and smiled. He quickly turned his attention to something else before he exploded.
He felt a tap on his shoulder when he looked around there she was in all her glory “Hi” she said with the sweetest smile. “Hi” he said getting up he was just 2cm taller than her so he was looking down at her and she was looking up at him, nothing needed to be said they knew what the other was thinking.
It’s been two weeks since that night Joon and Sooyoung have been texting nonstop, calling each other whenever they had the chance to. No one knew about them yet it was all on the down low at the moment. At music bank they would steal glances at each other, give each other secret smiles when they would walk past each other they would brush they’re hands against each other.
They weren’t so secretive one time someone caught them on fan cam, then it appeared all over the news: SNSD SOOYOUNG AND MBLAQ JOON A COUPLE? CAUGHT ON A FAN CAM
The guys and girls from each group hounded them until they got the truth. Sooyoung and Joon were alone together “So... should we make this official?” Joon asked looking up off the floor at her. “I guess we should” she said looking at him. They were quiet for awhile then started smiling at each other. Sooyoung got up and so did Joon and in one swift move they were joined at the lips.
SNSD had an interview with a magazine followed by a photo shoot, “Sooyoung is it true that you are dating MBLAQ’s Joon?” asked the interviewer. “Yes, it is true” she said smiling her brightest smile. MBLAQ was on Star King with Super Junior and SHINee. “Eh, Joon is it true that you’re dating our Sooyoung ah from SNSD?” asked Eunhyuk with curiosity. All the boys were curious as they were staring at him.
“Yes, we are dating” Joon said with the biggest grin his face could make. Everyone wooed, wowed and cheered except for one boy who tried to keep a smile on his face. So it was official Sooyoung and Joon together but for how long?
