I'm in HOLLAND
So, I got in last at 5:30 P.M. Holland time, that makes it 2:30 A.M. Guam time. Dennis picked me up at the Schiphol airport in Amsterdam. He surprised me because his mom and dad were both there! Haha, payback for the first time I picked him up.
We drove A LONG way... seemed like forever... to a restaurant in a hotel with a W in it's name... I felt weird because I was wearing my blue Picasso shirt, sweat pants, toe socks, and pink fluffy slippers. Yes, exactly what I was wearing in the plane.
Dennis ordered me Schnitzel with Pepper sauce. Before you get all surprised at the fact that I allowed a man to ORDER for me, let me just EXPLAIN that I couldn't read the FREAKEN menu! It was in Dutch. Hee hee... Oh, I tried eating RABBIT... well... HARE... Den ordered it. It was our first time trying it.
The restaurant was beautiful it had such RICH colors of burgandy, mahogany, etc... And decorated in the Christmas spirit!
Well, we drove MORE to get to Dennis' town, Leeuwarden. We passed so many small villages, each with a large church steeple sticking out amidst the top of quaint little "Disney World" type "It's a small world after all" kind of houses... you'll see pictures!
Mom and Dad Bakker helped take the luggages up and left for the night.
I took a shower and FROZE MY BUTT OFF.... OMG! It is GREAT when you're in the SHOWER... BEAUTIFUL WONDERFUL GREAT! BUT DON'T GET OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SOOOOOOOOOOOO hehe I went to sleep at 12:30 A.M. and got up this morning at 5:30 A.M. heheh WONDEFUL, GLORIOUS Jetlag!!!!
Hee hee... well it's 8:42 A.M. now... Den and I are going to Church here in Leeuwarden. We're going to see if it IS a Catholic church. Den said that it wouldn't really matter if it isn't because it will be in Dutch and I won't understand a word... He's a dork!
