Naan came to visit me at work today which was a nice surprise. She burst into the restaurant and was all like: "WOMAN! Make me a salad." At this my co-worker visibly twitched and I had to explain that it was okay since I live with this chick. I didn't get to chat with her for long though since the lunch rush came in early today.

I work at an organic lunch restaurant that caters mostly to the business crowed. We're only open weekdays until 17:00h, which is fantastic if you ask me. I never have to worry about not being able to attend an event because of work. I like my work a lot actually. I really enjoy spending time with my co-workers. Additionally, my work provides me with my one decent meal of the day usually and it's half off. We specialize in salads, awesome organic salads that taste great. I've never eaten healthier in my life than when after I started working there.
Naan and I went grocery shopping today as well.
That's the exciting part of my day.

I've also be trying to learn how to play guitar. Naan bought an acoustic of one of our mutual friends, Busstop Ryan the Conartist (long story, ended up getting kicked out of university for fraud).  Neither of us really knows how to play. My boyfriend used it a lot when he was still in town since he's pretty much a music genius. Maybe not a genius, but he's got close to perfect pitch and a great sense of rhythm (I have neither). He's trying to carve out his own business as a sound tech too.
I feel like "chicks that dig guys with guitars" would appreciate him a lot more than I do. When he told me all about his sound business, his guitar playing, his band, his music this and that all I really said was: "Oh, cool... there's civil unrest going on in Kyrgyzstan between the Uzbeks and the Kyrgyz and this is a huge problem because they're suppose to hold a referendum to confirm their new constitution end of June but many say that they shouldn't hold it while on the brink of civil war, that would be a tragedy for... blablabla"
Anyways, that being said the guitar is feeling lonely so I'm giving it some love. I've developed some serious blisters though.
