Why no update, you ask.
Well, lets start at the beginning.d a lot of trouble getting out those chapters I posted. It wasn't where this thing was intended to go, so it felt like pulling teeth to get it out. Ergo...I was wiped as far as writing (add to that the fact that my JOB is writing and it was just a meltdown).
Fast forward a few days after the last post and I got mugged. In my own yard! I came home after dark and this guy was in the back just off to teh side of the deck and he grabbed me and my stuff then he shoved me and ran. I don't live in a bad area and the house has an alarm...but he got me. I'm okay, but for the time being i make sure i get home before it's dark. The sun goes down at 5:30 here - the boss loves my new schedule.
Next - There is a particular man in my life that's making me crazy. Absolutely insane. I'm pretty he knows what he's doing and I know what I'm doing but...well....its a slow roll.
And finally...i was driving home the ohter night and had a little accident. Now, the head was going out on the car anyway, but i snapped the axle (yeah...it's that bad) and apparently i f'd up the spindle and the rod. I cracked the oil pan and bent the frame. Yeah...it was rough. So while all of that can be fixed it would cost more than the car is worth, even if I did the labor. (spindle, rod and bearing i could do but teh axle is diffrent. And the head...ever remove an engine?). So I'm buying a new car. And I muckied up my back when I hit. Standing, sitting, laying down...it's all bad.
So when things are a little less 'running around with my hair on fire' I'll post. Please be patient.
