Can't talk...writing
Halloween and November caught me off guard this year. While I did create a wonderful little costume and helped host a great little party at HOR (pictures to come soon), I found myself bed-ridden the next day and struggling with the cold.
I've recovered mostly, but now find myself busy working on costumes for Steamcon II for myself and my roommate. I'll post progress pics soon but I have to admit I'm quite behind as I expected to start in October and it's now the second week of November.
But I'm not quite ready to throw in the towel yet and intend to spend all week and this weekend feverishly making my sketches a reality.
On top of all this I'm participating in NaNoWriMo again. You can follow my progress on my blog and if you'd like to Sponsor me (I'm raising funds for youth creative writing programs across the country), you can donate here. I'm a little behind with 11,606 instead of the expected 15000, but I should catch up by the end of the day. I'll dish a bit more about the story another time.
